Cinque Terre and Portofino

THE TOUR STEPS

We set sail from La Spezia and cruise in the Gulf of Poets, admiring the rugged coastline and picturesque villages. Our first stop is Porto Venere, a seaside village perched on a promontory, with its characteristic small port and the suggestiveChurch of San Pietro.

We continue towards the Cinque Terre, five seaside villages suspended between sky and sea: Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso. Each with a unique charm, with its colorful houses, steep staircases and picturesque alleys.

Leaving the Cinque Terre, we head towards Portofino, sailing along the coast and admiring the towns of Chiavari, Santa Margherita Ligure and Rapallo with their famous beaches.

We will stop for lunch in Portofino, at a typical restaurant and to visit this enchanting village, nestled in the Gulf of Tigullio. Its crystal-clear sea, its marina and its luxurious villas make it one of the most beautiful places in the world. The entire territory is included in the Portofino Regional Natural Park and in the Marine Protected Area of the same name. Its crystalline sea is at the center of the Cetacean Sanctuary.

During our return, we will enjoy a splendid sunset over the sea, which will accompany us to La Spezia.

We will not miss out stopping for a swim in some of the inlets and to discover the seabed of the Ligurian Riviera, rich in fauna and flora.
